GREEN KARST COURSE FOR LOCAL TOURIST GUIDES

RRA Zeleni kras is organising a course for local tourist guides of the Green Karst Destination, which will start on Tuesday 10 March 2026. With a licence for local tourist guiding, you will be able to guide tourists and visitors in the municipalities of Bloke, Cerknica, Ilirska Bistrica, Loška dolina, Pivka and Postojna, which make up the common destination of the Green Karst.

OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE DIRECTOR OF THE ILIRSKA BISTRICA TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE (M/F)

On the basis of Articles 34 and 35 of the Act on Institutions, the Decree on the establishment of the Public Institution Tourist Information Centre Ilirska Bistrica, the Council of the Institution hereby announces the vacancy for the position of DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC INSTITUTION IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM (m/f) JOB NUMBER B017850.

The appointment of the DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC INSTITUTE TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE ILIRSKA BISTRICA will be made to a candidate who, in addition to the general conditions laid down in the labour law regulations, fulfils the following other conditions:
- has at least a first Bologna degree (grade VII/1 (or level VI/2)), namely: a specialised post-secondary qualification (previous) or a higher professional qualification (previous) or a higher professional qualification or a university degree;
- has at least five (5) years' professional experience;
- is familiar with the area of work for which he/she is applying;
- has a high level of knowledge of the English language;
- has a valid driving licence in category B; - has a valid driving licence in category B.
