The Škorpion Inn and Pizzeria is a family-run restaurant located in the village of Rečica, one kilometre from Ilirska Bistrica, which welcomed its first guests in 1994. Today, the restaurant seats 90 people indoors and has a small terrace that can accommodate 25 guests. The restaurant is furnished in a simple style for those who appreciate homeliness, while art lovers will be impressed by the exhibition of paintings by renowned painter Jože Šajn.
The kitchen serves a variety of fish and meat dishes, pasta and homemade desserts. Every afternoon, we start with pizzas baked in a real wood-burning oven. The wine list is provided by the owner Rajko, a Level 2 sommelier, who will pour you a glass of homemade open or bottled wine of your choice.
