Fishing regulations on Lake Mola
In order to regulate the water level of the River Reka, the Molja stream was dammed in 1979 and the Mola Reservoir was created. It is basically a technical structure, but its authenticity has made it blend in perfectly with its surroundings.
With Lake Mola attracting an increasing number of visitors, the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica has introduced boating regulations that play a vital role in protecting the natural environment and ensuring its sustainable enjoyment for everyone.
Within the designated boating area, every person operating a vessel must comply with the provisions of the ordinance below, as well as with all safety requirements for navigation prescribed by the applicable legislation.
