Mašun – The Bear’s Path
The bear is the king of the Ilirska Bistrica forests, and the Bear Trail is the queen of the trails around Mašun. Almost 30 km long, this moderately demanding trail combines the best of the Fox and Deer Trails. There are a good half a kilometre of climbs, but the cool shadows and fresh air of the forests will invigorate you more than the trail will tire you out!
