In a beautiful house under the coastal town of Snežnik, Karmen, Sonja and Andrej have combined their love in a culinary and creative event of a special kind.Karmen shares her love for making homemade pate with all those who are looking for authentic flavours and traditionally prepared dishes, Sonja is in love with flowers and creates Flower Mistresses with them, and Andrej conjures up the sweetest flavours and the most intriguing stories with his little bees.The event will be held in the beautiful house of the Snežnik family.The experience consists of a workshop of homemade pate as prepared by our nuns, but with the addition of flowers, which makes it even more interesting and tasty, and a tasting of homemade honey products. While learning about the history of the house - Belakapa, the guests listen to the extraordinary natural and cultural diversity of our places, which are an invaluable basis for the common product, and the rich tradition of beekeeping and pasta.
The first Carniola pasta factory, PeKaTeTe, was founded in Ilirska Bistrica in 1899.The highlight of the event is the lunch/dinner, where we serve pasta that we have prepared ourselves at a communal table, accompanied by a glass of wine. The dessert is also made from our own pasty. Sweet pasties. We have combined 3 loves and created a product that is a blend of tradition, innovation and authenticity, where the participant learns new skills, gets to know the flavours and attractions of our places.
The event is designed for groups of 6 to 10 participants and lasts about 3 hours. In a longer version, it can also be offered for groups of up to 24 participants. The product can also be adapted to smaller or larger groups based on the client's wishes, thus changing both the content and the price. The product is suitable for private groups on occasions such as birthday celebrations, anniversaries, hen parties or simply for a little different socialising, and for companies looking to strengthen networking within their organisation.
