Description

To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dragotin Kette, the Ilirska Bistrica Tourist Information Centre and the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica published a special and original picture book, The Tale of the Little Seamstress and the Scissors.

The text of the fairy tale has been preserved in its original form, as it was first published in Kette’s Poems in 1907. The picture book is enriched with exquisite illustrations by Romeo Volk, a renowned researcher and expert on the cultural heritage of Ilirska Bistrica and the wider Primorska region.

The publication represents a valuable tribute to literary heritage and is suitable for both younger and adult readers.
