Kette’s family afternoon at Prem – what the children did and who came to visit.

Kette's family afternoon at Prem: we sewed (like Bogdanka), drew, listened to and watched a fairy tale, a riddle and a song in the Kamišibaj theatre, spent a school lesson in a classroom from 60 and more years ago with a strange teacher with a shiva in her hand, and we were visited by Dragotin Kette and Ivan Cankar themselves.

For the first time, we also picked up a new picture book, Kette's The Tale of Šivilja in škarjice (The Seamstress and the Scissors), illustrated by our Romeo Volk. From now on, the TIC also stocks special chocolates with illustrations from the picture book, and the VDC in Bistrica has made a nice book bag and beautiful magnets. All with Romeo's original designs.

Prepared by the girls from TIC Ilirska Bistrica, the Ilirska Bistrica unit of the Regional Museum Koper and from the "municipality", and always with us at Prem, Jerica Strle. The book is published by the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica and all the products are available for purchase at the TIC.
