The series of lectures and discussions Kette and Cankar: Between the Domestic Tradition and the Vast Landscape of European Modernism will continue with a lecture by the literary historian, poet, essayist, Prof. Dr. Denis Poniž, entitled Cankar's Reception and Understanding of Kette's Lyrics.
The lecture will be followed by questions from the audience and a discussion moderated by Prof. Urška Perenič. The works will be read by members of the Ilirska Bistrica Literary Society.
The event will take place at the Maksa Samsa Library in Ilirska Bistrica on 16 April 2026 at 7 pm.
The event is part of the Year of Kette and Cankar, which was declared and made possible by the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica.
