Rudi Bučar is a singer-songwriter and musician who has spent the past two decades blending the rich musical heritage of his native Istria with contemporary melodies in a unique and instantly recognizable style. Through his original compositions, he has made a significant contribution to preserving and promoting Istrian cultural heritage across Slovenia and beyond, earning a distinguished place as both an artist and a creator.
With his exceptional vocal interpretation—having graduated in jazz singing and arranging from the University of Trieste—his poetic songwriting, sincere dedication, and deep respect for tradition, Rudi has left a lasting mark on the Slovenian music scene. He has enriched it with several acclaimed albums and numerous songs that have not only won prestigious music festivals but continue to be an essential part of his diverse live concert repertoire.
Smrdel Brothers is a musical ensemble led by two local musicians and virtuosos of the younger generation—brothers Peter Smrdel, a double bassist, and Žiga Smrdel, a drummer.
The group was first formed under the name Smrdel Brothers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary radio show Izštekani on Val 202. Joined by a 17-piece ensemble, they created a unique concert project featuring fresh arrangements of some of the greatest hits by renowned Slovenian artists, including Vlado Kreslin, Siddharta, Vazz, Laibach, Fed Horses, Mrfy, and many others. Their performance captivated a sold-out audience at Ljubljana’s iconic Križanke open-air theatre.
This time, the two guys from Ilirska Bistrica are joining forces with an Istrian, and together they'll have the Bora wind blowing you across the Snežnik mountain range.
