Pregarka – cycling in Brkini

The cycling route leads through the rugged landscape of Brkini, where picturesque villages, forests and open vistas intertwine. The route first follows pleasant local roads towards Zarečica, then gradually climbs towards the Harije area.

One of the highlights of the route is the stretch along Lake Klivnik, which offers beautiful views and a connection with nature. The route then continues through the countryside towards Podbeže and Hrušica, where the terrain gently undulates and offers a pleasant cycling experience.

The climb up to Pergarje is a bit more challenging, but is rewarded with views of the surrounding landscape. After the climb, the route descends and continues along quiet roads through typical Brkini villages. Here you can take a longer break and enjoy something tasty and homemade at the Peternelj Farm.
